Art historian Costantino D’Orazio, curator of the upcoming exhibition dedicated to Artemisia Gentileschi at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, will illustrate documents related to the rape trial brought in Rome in 1612 by Orazio Gentileschi against Agostino Tassi. The affair presents many issues that are still unresolved today, which D’Orazio will address with the help of the original texts preserved at the State Archives in Rome.
